RYAN MILLER
Ryan Miller is a custom home builder in Greenville, SC, with expertise in every aspect of the home building process, from planning to final touches. As a licensed contractor and graduate of Appalachian State University’s Construction Management program, he has a proven reputation for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Ryan’s personalized approach ensures that every client’s unique vision is brought to life. He develops relationships with clients, estimates project costs, manages finances, and creates the vision for his growing company. Ryan works closely with clients to create personalized spaces that meet their unique needs and preferences. His dedication to quality and attention to detail ensure that every home he builds is as beautiful as it is functional.
Ryan is a family man, husband to Hailey, the company’s interior designer, and father to twin boys. Ryan enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, golfing, and fitness.
HAILEY MILLER
Hailey is our in-house interior designer who guides our clients through the selection process, ensuring that every detail of their custom home reflects their unique style and preferences. Born and raised in Greenville, Hailey grew up surrounded by interior design as her mother owned an interior design studio. She earned a marketing degree from the University of South Carolina and went on to work in corporate advertising, marketing, and events before joining our team in 2016.
As a licensed realtor, Hailey has a keen eye for design and extensive knowledge of the real estate market. She works closely with our clients to transform their vision into reality, from selecting finishes and fixtures to choosing furniture and decor. Hailey is the wife of Ryan, a proud mom of twin boys, and enjoys fitness, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Shawn Thompson
Shawn brings over 22 years of accounting experience to the team, specializing in financial management and streamlining administrative processes. As the office manager, she plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of finances and providing administrative support to the team.
With a proven track record in facilities and office management, accounts payable and receivable, and administrative support, Shawn is committed to delivering top-notch support to the team. Her expertise and dedication ensure that the business runs smoothly and efficiently, enabling the team to focus on delivering exceptional service to clients.
In her personal life, Shawn is a proud mom to her daughter who is currently pursuing her degree at Clemson University. She enjoys reading and watching sports with her husband in her free time.
NICK FILIPEK
Nick’s passion for residential construction led him to pursue a degree in Construction Science and Management with a minor in Business Administration from Clemson University. Nick started out on the team as a summer intern with Ryan Miller Builders, and gained valuable experience working on the job sites and developing his skill set. He joined the team after his graduation in 2021.
As an Assistant Project Manager in the field, Nick is responsible for assisting with the coordination of subcontractors and materials, client relations, and project estimation and budgeting. With his attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively, Nick ensures that every project runs smoothly and efficiently.
Originally from Tampa, FL, Nick has fallen in love with the Greenville area and is excited to call it his new home. When he’s not on the job site, Nick enjoys participating in shooting sports, powerlifting, and reading.

STEP 1
Initial Consultation
We start with a personalized consultation to understand your vision, budget, and timeline. Our team will provide you with a comprehensive overview of our services and answer any questions you may have.
STEP 2
Construction / Design
At the outset of the project, we will provide clients with a full timeline of the project. Clients will work directly with our in-house designer and our head of construction to ensure decisions are made on time and with the home’s overall aesthetic in mind. Our skilled builders and contractors will use only quality materials and construction methods to bring your custom home to life. Throughout the construction process, we’ll keep you informed and involved to ensure that everything meets your expectations. Our team utilizes the robust Buildertrend software suite to keep our project on schedule and to communicate with our clients during the building process.
STEP 3
Permits & Approvals
Before construction can begin, we’ll obtain all necessary permits and approvals from local authorities and governing bodies. We’ll handle all the paperwork and ensure everything is in place for a smooth building process.

Construction
Our skilled builders and contractors will use only quality materials and construction methods to bring your custom home to life. Throughout the construction process, we’ll keep you informed and involved to ensure that everything meets your expectations. Final Walkthrough & Inspection
